Woodwork Restoration

Overview

Original woodwork holds intrinsic value—whether due to its age, craftsmanship, or irreplaceable qualities—that modern replacements often can't match. Wood is a naturally beautiful, sustainable, and cost-effective material that lends itself well to repair, restoration, and refinement. Unlike stone, marble, or glass, original wood and millwork can often be restored to its former glory. With the right knowledge and expertise, preserving fine old wood pieces is not only possible—it’s the responsible and respectful choice for both nature and our shared heritage.

Delivery, Onsite, Pickup, or Storage

We tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each client. Our 54,000-square-foot facility provides a centralized location for drop-off, pickup, and climate-controlled storage—an essential feature for preserving old wood and millwork.

We offer:

  • Pickup and delivery across the United States
  • Safe loading and packaging of items at your site
  • Climate-controlled storage for preservation
  • Specialized handling for large or complex projects

For larger restorations, we manage the removal, tagging, bundling, transportation, and storage of all woodwork. Whenever possible, work is completed at our facility, under controlled environmental and safety conditions. Upon return, items are installed professionally—ready for use with no additional work required.

We also carry specialized insurance to protect items while they are in our possession or in transit.

Project Tracking

In complex restoration projects, ensuring every item is returned and reinstalled in its exact original location is critical. What might seem like a daunting task is something Heritage has mastered over years of experience.

We use customized software and tracking systems to ensure precise record-keeping throughout the process. Whether you need real-time updates or monthly inventory and progress reports, we provide the information you need to make informed decisions on-site.

If you've already begun cataloging your own materials, we’ll collaborate with your system to ensure a smooth and efficient restoration process from start to finish.
