Heritage Restoration and Design Studio, who has decades of experience in stained glasswork, recently completed a significant project in a Catholic church located in Missouri. The undertaking focused on enhancing eight stained glass windows within the church’s nave. Each window’s lower sash was carefully modified to include a custom-etched glass panel, providing new artistic and spiritual depth to the space.

The etched panels showcase intricate religious imagery, including representations of the Seven Sacraments, the church's patron St. Boniface, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph. Surrounding each etched panel, decorative filigree glass pieces were meticulously recreated to match the church's original stained glass design. This careful integration ensured the additions blended seamlessly with the historic aesthetic of the sanctuary.

Once the etched panels and their wooden sash frames were constructed at Heritage Restoration’s workshop, the team traveled to Missouri to complete the installation. The new glass sashes were expertly fitted into the church’s nave windows, bringing both reverence and renewed artistry to the sacred space. This project underscores Heritage Restoration's commitment to preserving and enhancing ecclesiastical architecture through skilled craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
