Project Details
Heritage Restoration and Design Studio recently completed a comprehensive interior revitalization of Tremont Baptist Church, overseeing every stage of planning, restoration, and execution. The project aimed to refresh and enhance the worship space while preserving its historical character and function. A major focus of the work involved the restoration of 42 stained glass panels, where cracks and breaks were expertly repaired to bring the windows back to their original brilliance.
In addition to the stained glass restoration, the church’s interior received a full aesthetic upgrade. The walls and ceiling were repainted to create a brighter, more welcoming atmosphere, and new carpeting was installed throughout the sanctuary. Heritage also sourced and installed new pews, carefully chosen for both comfort and visual harmony with the refreshed space. To further enhance the sanctuary’s focal points, a new altar and pulpit were handcrafted to reflect the church’s traditional design while offering renewed functionality.
Several custom additions were also completed, including the construction of a bespoke donation box tailored to the church’s interior style. One of the most significant upgrades was the replacement of the church’s aged full-immersion baptistry with a modern, efficient unit designed for long-term use. With all elements complete, the Tremont Baptist Church now features a beautifully updated interior that balances reverence for tradition with modern improvements—ready to serve its congregation for years to come.
